War

Who'd have thought Humanity,
God's greatest Creation,
is capable of such?
War is now man's Creation.
It lives and breathes, just as we do
only its Feed is of its creator
and high prices.
Sweeping the land for prey to fall under its clutches
Leaving behind a devastating wake
That proclaims with no mistake,
War Was Here.
Its children,
Destruction,
Suffering,
Disease,
Pain,
take their sup of blood and flesh
Ridden with lead
Infested with worms.
Breathing still, living dead.
War truly could be called a thinking, living creature.
If living could be called death.
